I am the son of immigrants from Hong Kong and grew up in the suburbs of Chicago for most of my life before moving to SJ. In college, God grew in me a passion for serving in the Chinese heritage church. Because my own youth pastors had made such a large impact on my life, I explored youth ministry and discovered a love for passing faith on to the generations behind me. Helping young people discover life with Christ as teenagers and young adults is critical in cultivating lifelong faith and discipleship. I joined the SJCAC staff in May 2020. I enjoy board games, watching Chicago sports, and biking. Outside of church, I'm the cohost of the Bamboo Pastors Podcast, a podcast on English-speaking ministry in the Chinese Heritage Church.

I received a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute.
