Sunrise over the Wheat Field

I was born in Torrance, California, where my parents immigrated from Taiwan to pursue education and opportunities in the United States. Eventually, my family moved to the Bay Area where we started attending SJCAC in 1992. I attended DeAnza College for three years before transferring to UC San Diego. At San Diego, I had the opportunity to lead a Bible Study, where I began to encounter God and discovered God’s heart for the poor, lost, broken, and lonely. After college, as I worked as an accountant, I sensed that there had to be more to life than what I was experiencing. Engaging in conversations with my pastor, I dedicated one year to serving in the Youth Ministry, eager to see where God would lead me. During this time, I observed the need for more guidance for the youth which led me into full-time ministry. With two older siblings, I am a proud uncle to seven nephews and nieces! I enjoy basketball, hiking, and going to the gym. Some of my greatest joys in my life have been to be on a mission trip and interact with the local church. Right now I'm practicing my Chinese and learning Spanish in hopes to further some of these existing relationships.

I received a B.A. Economics from UC San Diego, and a M.A. in Intellectual Leadership from Tozer Seminary.

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for His name’s sake.
